Water baptism is the outward declaration of the inward transformation of Jesus! During baptism, a believer is fully immersed in water to symbolize their new life in Christ. Colossians 2:12 says, “Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead”. We, in this act, symbolically show that we are buried and risen, dying to our old lives and selves and are reborn in Him.
